Middle School Science, Middle School Math, Technology Coordinator
I am incredibly excited for my third year at St. Raphael Catholic School. I attended Villanova University, graduating in 2013 with a B.S. in Comprehensive Science along with Minors in Mathematics and Psychology. While at Villanova University, I was heavily involved with the soccer program as the Student Assistant Coach as well as an athlete on the Men’s Water Polo Team, amongst many other co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. After working at North Memorial Medical Center in the Emergency Department for three years, I decided to forgo medical school to pursue my real passion of teaching science and mathematics to the next generation of brilliant scientists. I am a current Master’s in Education Candidate at the University of St. Thomas.
My passion and love for science goes far beyond the classroom and permeates into my everyday life. I feel that mathematics and science can reveal truths about the universe as well as ourselves as human beings. Each and every one of us is a scientist of sorts, searching for the answers to questions. I hope to instill in each one of my students a love for self-discovery, an appreciation for historical scientists especially those of the Catholic faith, and help develop the curiosity of young minds to go out and seek the answers to the world’s greatest questions.
