Flor Franklin is excited to join the St. Raphael Catholic School community as the Spanish Instructor. As a native Spanish speaker from Venezuela, she brings a rich cultural heritage to share with students. Before moving to the United States, Flor obtained her Bachelor’s degree from Metropolitan University in Caracas, Venezuela. Flor also has also completed formal education in language interpretation and is a certified interpreter. While living in Venezuela, Flor taught at various Catholic schools and her experience spans a multitude of grades. She also had the unique opportunity of working for a foreign ambassador in Caracas. Most recently, Flor was a long-term substitute in the Hopkins School District and continues to provide Spanish interpretation services for that district. Flor is enthusiastic and passionate about teaching her native language, and looks forward to teaching at our school.
