2019-2020 School Year
**NOTE: Pre-School / Pre-Kindergarten will be available only as full-day options in the 2019-2020 School Year – there will be no half-day options. Also, there will be NO 2 Day/Week option.
New Family Registration is $75 per student (maximum $150 per family). Returning Family Registration is $75 per student (maximum of $150 per family). After March 15th, new and returning family registration will be $150 per student (maximum $300 per family). Once the registration fee and online application have been received, you will be contacted by our school administration to assist you in taking your next step toward enrollment at St. Raphael Catholic School.
We have calculated the total cost of educating each student for the 2019-2020 school year to be $9,190, based on stable enrollment. The Church of St. Raphael provides a significant contribution to help defray this cost and make our school more affordable for families. This year, the anticipated contribution per student, from the Church of St. Raphael and special gifts will be approximately $3,965. We rely on the efforts of our families to fill in the remaining tuition gap of $300 per student through dedicated fundraising efforts. The balance remaining to educate each student is paid through regular tuition payments.
Parent Service Hours
To build community and participate in the life of the school, it is important that all school families donate service hours. Each St. Raphael Catholic School family is required to complete 30 hours of service. Service hours opportunities include, but are not limited to, working before, during or after fundraising events or school promotional events, classroom assistance, chaperoning field trips, assisting with school mailings, student activities, chairing a committee for school fundraising. These activities and opportunities will be sent out on a monthly basis as we promote them. Parent/Guardian will sign in and out of each activity for which they volunteer.
At the beginning of the school year each family is charged a $300 service hours fee. Once a family has completed the required 30 volunteer hours (for school activities only) the $300 fee will be reimbursed as the family stipulates to the school. A family may be reimbursed by applying the fee to their current tuition or a reimbursement check. Hours must be completed no later than May of each year. Families must complete the entire 30 hours in order to be reimbursed.
All tuition payments must be paid through TADS; neither the school or parish office will be able to accept tuition payment in any form (cash, check, wire transfer, credit card, or money order). Although TADS prefers ACH electronic payments, they will also accept money orders, checks, and credit cards (when using credit cards, a 3% processing fee will be added to your payment).
We use TADS to calculate tuition assistance allocation for those who are in need. Once you have completed your online registration for the 2019-2020 school year, TADS will provide you information and a link to apply for tuition assistance. Tuition assistance will be provided on a first come, first served basis according to the guidelines established by the Parish Finance Council. Families who have applied for tuition assistance by April 15th will be notified of their tuition assistance status by June 1st.
