2020-2021 School Year
**NOTE: Pre-School / Pre-Kindergarten will be available only as full-day options in the 2020-2021 School Year – there will be no half-day options. Also, there will be NO 2 Day/Week option.
New Family Registration is $150 per student (maximum $300 per family). Once the registration fee and online application have been received, you will be contacted by our school administration to assist you in taking your next step toward enrollment at St. Raphael Catholic School.
Returning families will receive an email from TADS prompting them to log into their TADS account and complete their registration for the 2020-2021 school year. See the grid below for the Returning Student Registration Fees.
We have calculated the total cost of educating each student for the 2020-2021 school year to be $10,917, based on stable enrollment. The Church of St. Raphael provides a significant contribution to help make our school affordable for families. This year, the anticipated contribution per student, from the Church of St. Raphael and special gifts – will be approximately $5,892. We rely on the efforts of our families to fill in the remaining tuition gap of $300 per student through dedicated fundraising efforts. The balance remaining to educate each student is paid through regular tuition payments.
Parent Service Hours
To build community and participate in the life of the school and parish, all families are asked to volunteer for our school. Each St. Raphael Catholic School family is asked to complete 30 volunteer hours. There is a wide variety of volunteer opportunities throughout the year and will be promoted throughout the year. Parent/Guardian will sign in and out of each activity for which they volunteer.
At the beginning of the school year each family is charged a $300 Volunteer Fee. A Volunteer Fee credit of $300 will be applied to the family tuition account for those families who complete the volunteer requirements. Volunteer hours must be completed no later than May of each year. Families must complete the entire 30 hours in order to receive the credit.
All tuition payments are required to be paid through TADS. The school or parish office cannot accept tuition payment in any form (cash, check, wire transfer, credit card, or money order). Although TADS prefers ACH electronic payments, they will also accept money orders, checks, and credit cards (when using credit cards, a 3% processing fee will be added to your payment).
St. Raphael Catholic School uses TADS to calculate tuition assistance allocations. Apply on-line at www.tads.com. Click on the parents button to begin. Tuition assistance will be provided according to the guidelines established by the Parish Finance Council. Families are required to submit Financial Assistance Applications to TADS by April 15, 2020 and will be notified of their awards by June 1, 2020. Applications submitted after April 15th will be evaluated and considered only if there are tuition assistance funds available.
