Left to Right, Size Recognition
Posted on : October 29th, 2007

Today the children enjoyed another Spanish class with Sister where they continued to work on colors and counting. Back in the PreK classroom the children worked on a  lesson in left to right, and size recognition. The children worked through many steps within the lesson. First the children had to do some cutting, coloring and then arrange the pumpkins in a size sequence and in a left to right pattern. The final step was making the pumpkin headband.

Remember, tomorrow is the Halloween party!  Children should come in costume, please no weapons or masks.  Some of the children were worried about the masks, saying their costumes are incomplete without the masks. My major concern is safety  in walking on our parade route. If face paint can be substituted, that would be GREAT!

Remember, no school for students on Friday.
