Long Lake Conservation Center–Our Schedule

Arrive Wednesday morning at the usual time with all supplies, out of uniform. Do not drive onto the playground! Come into the school–drop off supplies–go back outside.

We will have first two classes.
Leave 9 a.m. from game entrance.
ANY meds must be in Monday for sure. If you signed permission for OTC (Advil etc.) send the OTC med in the original container. We do not provide OTC meds to be given.
Kids return 2:30-3:00 Friday. Be ready to provide transportation home.

This blog will take us to the end of the quarter, which is March 19.                                      A final letter concerning Long Lake was sent home tonight. It requires you to sign one more form, write a check for the bus, and has the student schedule attached for your information.

Lit 6-Thursday 3/11 read ch. 12 and 13 and do questions for Monday.
Tuesday 3/15 quiz on chapter 9-13. Read ch 14 in class or home, do questions at home for Wed.
Wednesday 3/17-ch 15 in class-do questions at home. Video on hurricanes.
Final AR tests.
Thursday read ch 16-19 do all questions for Monday the 22nd.
Monday-review for final test on Tuesday.
Tuesday 3/23 final Cay test.

Science 6–will be in the lab doing microscope work and playing the student research games.

Literature 5–finish The Pinballs and all questions for Monday 3/15.
Monday 3/15 review questions.
Tuesday 3/16 take AR test on The Pinballs.
Wednesday 3/17 take final classroom test
on The Pinballs. Final AR test.
Thursday 3/18 to KFC during lunch/SH.

Science 5-Final chapter test D1 3/16.

English 5 and 6 will all be done in class.

Literature 6–The Cay ch. 10 questions due Wed.
Literature 5-The Pinballs ch19-21 questions.
Science 5–reminder that review pg D32-33 due Thursday and chapter test 3/16.

Grade 5 and 6 turn in LLCC permission and checks.

English 6-GUM 162 due Wednesday–spelling page 133-34 due Friday.

Lit 6–finish reading ch 9 and do questions in The Cay. Due Monday.

Lit 6–quiz on The Cay ch 4-8 Thursday.

Lit 5–questions ch 18 The Pinballs due Thursday.

Science 5–g. D32-33 due Thursday, March 11. Review for chapter test Friday, March 12. Chapter test on Tuesday, March 16.

Grades were not updated until today due to several internet problems on Friday.

Both 5th and 6th grades took short version of the NWEA test in reading and language. Results will be given at conferences Tues. and Thurs. in cafeteria. Please bring your child if possible. Looking forward to meeting with you.

Please remember to fill out the LLCC forms and send in your check.

Letter and registration forms were sent home yesterday for LLCC. Please fill out and return the three registrations forms along with a check for camp. Bus costs will require a second check later.
