The last day of school for 2009-10 has arrived. It has been a fun year with lots of activities.
It is hard to say goodbye to the current 6th graders after two years together, but
I am looking forward to next fall and enjoying another year with the 5th, now 6th graders, and the upcoming new 5th grade class.

I hope you all have a wonderful summer.

I have set up a summer blog for the 5th graders that will be in my 6th grade class next year. It is a reading/sharing blog. The kids had a short in-service with Mr. Hartwell on how to access it. If they blog 10 times with me, they will receive extra credit in literature coming into class next fall. I will also have a treat for them.

In addition, if they complete at least the first page of all remaining lessons in their English workbook, they will also receive extra credit in English class next fall.

I will post more information on the blog tomorrow.
