Sept. 24 Update

Ξ September 24th, 2008 | → Comments Off | ∇ Uncategorized |

Grading for grades 6-8 will be weighted in Art this year.
Behavior= 10%

Tests= 25%

Class Projects 65%

The behavior points reflect how many warnings they receive. Perfect beh. = 10 pts.

One warning = 7.5 pts (C). Two warnings= 7 pts. (C-)  If I punch their card= 5 pts.  (F)

In regards to tests, they will always be given a study guide. Please encourage them to study. It is 25% of the grade.

As far as the other grades, if your child gets a C or U, that means he/she is getting 1-3 warnings. I give those if they’re talking while I’m presenting the lesson and not settling down to do their work.
