Here’s a study guide for the test.  Test is scheduled for Thursday, March 25.

Spelling:  There will be no spelling this week because of the end of the quarter.

Math:  M – Inv 9 T- L91  W – L92  Th – L93  F – L94

Science:  Begin to review Chapter E1 for a test next week.  Especially look at p E36 and E37.  We will do this review in class.  The test will be on Thursday, March 25.

Social Studies:  The midwest state research is due this Wednesday.  We have been working on it in school for a few weeks.  We will also work on it today and tomorrow.  Students who are behind may have to work at home.

AR:  The last day to take AR tests for this quarter is Thursday, March 18.

Quarter 3:  The end of the third quarter is this Friday, March 19.

Wednesday:  This Wednesday is green day.  For $1 you can wear mostly green to school.

Spelling:  Unit 19  Packet is due on Wednesday.  Test is on Thursday.

Math:  M -  L88  T – L89  W – SL90 Th – L90  F – Test, worksheet

Social Studies:  The Midwest State Project is due on Tuesday, March 9

AR:  Continue to read and test to gain points toward your third quarter goal.

End of 3rd Quarter:  March 19

Spelling:  Unit 18 Review.  Study the words on p. 128 of the packet.  Packet is due Wednesday.  Test is on Thursday.

Math:  M – L84  T – L85  W – Test, worksheet  Th – L86  F – L87

Social Studies:  Midwest states and capitals test is on Thursday.  State project is due next Tuesday.

Reading:  The February Reading Record is due today, March 1.  I will accept it throughout the week, with points deducted if it’s late.  I will only accept it through Friday.  If it is not turned in by Friday, it will be a zero.

Stations of the Cross:  Friday at 1 pm

Conferences:  Tuesday and Thursday, March 2 and 4

Spelling:  Unit 17  Study basic word list on p 120.  Packet is due Wednesday.  Test is on Thursday.

Math:  M – Test, worksheet  T – Inv 8  W – L81  Th – L 82, tesselation worksheet F – L83

States and Capitals:  Study the location and capitals of the Midwest states.  Test is on March 4.  See separate post for study materials.

Project:  The Midwest State project is due on March 9.  See separate post for guidelines.

AR:  Continue to read and test for Accelerated Reader.  The quarter is about half over, so half of the goal should have been reached.

Reading Record:  The at-home February reading record is due next Monday, March 1.  I will accept it anytime that week with a few points deducted if it is late.  After Friday, March 5, I will not longer accept it and the score will become zero.

The Midwest State project is due on or before Tuesday, March 9.  Requirements were sent home with each student.

Ignore the due date on the above sheet.  It is from a previous year.  The due date for this year is March 9.

Here are some additional notes:

The project includes an option of a paper or tech project.  If a paper project is chosen the scrapbook can either be purchased or handmade.  Include an attractive cover.  Pictures can be photos, printed out or hand drawn.

If a tech project is chosen, Google Apps would be the best option.  It can be accessed at home the same way it is at school, and then will be easy to pull up for sharing.  If students need a refresher on how to load photos, they can ask me or Mr. Hartwell.

In either case, for each requirement there must be a title or caption of some kind. The name of the student should be clearly labeled.

I tried to answer all questions in class today.  Otherwise, check with me prior to the due date.

Midwest St and Cap Activities

Spelling:  Unit 16  Packet is due on Thursday.  Test is on Friday.

Religion:  Chapter 10 test in school Tuesday, Feb. 9.

Spanish:  Test on lesson 7 this Thursday.  Sign if you reviewed with your child for bonus points.

AR:  I am entering the goals you returned.  If a goal sheet is not returned I will assign the minimum goal.
